We All Get Caught

True Friends do not lie, cheat or indiscriminately judge and punish each other with prejudice.

When disappointments and misunderstandings direct a relationship like a discordant conductor, we allow egos to fill in the blanks with festering unknowns.

We believe what we CHOOSE to believe, Embrace what we WANT to accept. Holding fast to worthless myopic and purposeless views, as though the manufactured“self” needs protecting from another’s truth.

When true friendships die, it’s because we allow them to. Neither distance nor time are to blame, but rather our spiritual neglect and dismissal of one another.

That one would deliberately submit to and nurture anger, however justified, or no, in lieu of communication and resolution to maintain and protect what was once so greedily cherished… speaks volumes.

Master the lesson once.

Maintaining the line between  “friend” and “acquaintance” can save one a lot of heartache.
