Rapture

Out of body
Out of mind
the world could be obliterated
but in this moment
this right now
this series of seconds scrambling their ego
they think, in as much as they are capable
let it all burn. 

Mutual assured destruction 
is the grace lover's pray for.

Third eyes burst open
offering momentary glimpses of the eternal
while the landing
returns them to the albatross of reality's
manufactured burdens and obligations.
