Can I repeat during the day

that which should be whispered in the comfort of darkness?

Fondle you with velvet words;

dare I think on you at night

when sheer clouds cover the moon 

and stars flicker SOS?

Or should I attempt to point out the obvious

That which could be said in a glance?

yes
